Made of several horns one behind the other. The mouthpiece is carved in one of the horns.
This instrument is used in the south of Peru to accompany the small-framed tinya drum, especially at ritual festivals for branding stock. The instrument is adorned with multi-coloured ribbons and is played by men, while women play the tinya.
